The Nemaha Central Elementary kindergarten class traveled to the Topeka Zoo for their field trip on Friday, May 6. After the students arrived at school, the kindergarten class hopped on the bus and headed to Topeka for a day of fun. The students went exploring around the zoo looking at the different animals while having fun and staying safe.
“My favorite animal was the giraffe,” said Blakey Holthaus.
When lunchtime rolled around the class went back to Holton for a picnic. After the students finished eating, they played at the park.
Rowan Knowles said, “It was fun playing at the park.”
After a long day of fun, the Nemaha Central Elementary kindergarten class packed up and headed back to the school to go home to their parents. As a whole class, the most loved animals were the elephants and the giraffes.
