The Nemaha Central Middle School track team hosted their first meet on their own home turf, on Monday, April 25. Teams that came to the meet were Hiawatha, Royal Valley, Saints Peter and Paul, Doniphan West, Everest, Axtell, and Wetmore. Overall each division did quite well.

“It was great having our first home track meet, and I’m looking forward to the league meet that is also here,” said Sebastian Randall.
Jade Macke previously broke the school record in the javelin and then broke her own record by 7 feet throwing 94 feet and 10 inches. It was a great track meet for all divisions. The seventh-grade girls placed fifth and the eighth-grade girls placed fourth. Both the seventh and eighth-grade boys placed first.
