The Nemaha Central Middle School cross country team hit the road and traveled to Falls City, Nebraska for a fun run. The race was just over a mile instead of their usual two miles. Since the race was shorter their times look a little different than usual.
On the girls side of things, Maddy Mosteller placed first with a time of 8:37 and Presley Lutz placed seventh with a time of 10:22. On the opposite side of things, Lane Mosteller placed first with a time of 7:35, while Bob Langill placed eighth with a time of 9:15. The seventh and eighth grade all ran together.
“It was probably my best meet so far because I was way ahead of the other participants,” said Maddy Mosteller.
The runners all ran pretty well and the course was shorter than usual. They look to improve before their season comes to a close at Jackson Heights.
