The Nemaha Central Track team kicked off their season traveling to their county rival, Sabetha’s, track for their first meet. The meet took place on Tuesday, April 10, 2025. There are 7 eighth grade boys, 13 seventh grade boys, 11 eighth grade girls, and 13 seventh grade girls competing this season. The coaches are Nikki Honeyman, Maggie Hasenkamp, Kurtis Tatkenhorst, and Tracie Wagner. Auburn, Sabetha, and Nemaha Central competed in this track meet. These are the results of the track meet.

The Nemaha Central Track team had a great day, with many first-place finishes. The seventh grade boys' 4x100-meter relay team even broke the school record at their first meet! The athletes worked hard preparing for their first meet, and many hope to break a school record this season.
