United for Youth Hot Chocolate Bar

The local United 4 Youth organization hosted a hot chocolate bar on Thursday, February 27, at the Nemeha Central Elementary and Middle School. Representatives of the United for Youth organization, Ashley Snyder and Rachelle Wertenberger, served the middle school students hot chocolate in the morning. Students had many toppings to choose from to add to their hot chocolate.

Lillian Smith said, "It was nice to get a break from class."

Rachelle Wertenberger gave a speech about how important our choices are. "Life is like a cup of hot chocolate, every choice adds to the experience!" She elaborated on the choices we make and how they can affect others. This was the final stop for the ladies as they had served hot chocolate on other mornings at Centralia Middle School and Sts. Peter and Paul Junior High.

Caleb Frye said, "The hot chocolate was really good!"

Thank you to the United 4 Youth organization for taking time out of their day to provide hot chocolate for the students.
