Kindergarteners and Grandfriends Playing Bingo

The Nemaha Central kindergarteners hosted a Grandfriends Day, on Friday, September 20, 2024. The event was held at the NCEMS gym, where the students and their grandfriends played Bingo together. The students were thrilled to see their grandfriends and they put on a little performance of singing and dancing for them in between games.

The kindergarteners and their grandfriends entered the gym taking their seats to begin playing bingo. They played multiple rounds of bingo, and if you won you got a piece of candy. After they played bingo, the kindergarten students sang and danced to one of their songs.

“I liked playing bingo with my grandmas,” said Adalyn Hiltibrand, a kindergartener at NCEMS.

Next, they got to play another round of bingo with their grandfriends. A handful of kindergarteners won in that round. Finally, they got to dance and sing another song. There were some awesome dance moves.

“I liked it when I got candy. I also really liked the milkshake song,” said Kellen Reinecke, a kindergartener at NCEMS.

Finally, it was their last round of bingo. Eventually, every kindergarten student got a piece of candy even if they didn’t get a bingo and they were so excited. Once that round was finished they sang their final song to their grandfriends. Finally, the kindergarteners handed out their gifts to their grandfriends.
