The Nemaha Central Elementary and Middle School had their annual book fair of the year on November 10 -19. The book fair is a treat for students and a great opportunity to find new books you like to read. All students had access to the book fair and could go if they asked the teacher. There was a wide variety of books, toys, kits, etc.
Pagan Davis said “I’m very excited for the book fair because there are lots of fun books!”
The younger students had a lot of options like coloring books, picture books, and fairy tales to choose from. For the older students the options they might have been interested in were mystery novels, romance novels, and chapter books. The book fair even had extra items such as pens, pencils, kits, posters, and toys. The library raised $6,803. That is the highest the school has raised in the past 7 years. Out of that amount, the school will get $3,661.33 to add new books to the library shelves. Thanks to all who stopped by to support the book fair.
Zane Roberts said “I got a ton of books and the next book fair I’m getting more!”
