The Nemaha Central Elementary and Middle School hosted the annual event Donuts for Dads on Friday, October 11. There were around 440 students and dads that attended. Most enjoyed sitting down, chatting, and enjoying their donuts and juice together.
The juice and napkins were provided by the school. The lunch ladies made all the donuts this year. Heidi Holthaus, Lisa Holthaus, Katie Heiman, and Lindsey Haug helped distribute juice and napkins to all the students and dads.
Donuts for Dads is made possible by staff members donating money to wear jeans to school on home game days. This year’s Donuts for Dads was a huge success. Many students enjoyed spending time with their dads eating donuts and drinking juice.
Mya Ganstrom said, “The donuts were very tasty and it was a fun time!”
Weston Holthaus said, “It was fun and I liked the donuts and juice.”
