On 11/2/2023 the NCMS Girls played Riverside at NC.
8A played first. The game started off kind of slow with the score at the end of the first quarter being Thunder 5 Riverside 4. The second quarter was a defensive battle with the score, Thunder 7 Riverside 5. Coach Hermesch must have given them some motivation because they were on fire, scoring 14 points in the second half. The final score was Thunder 21 Riverside 19.
Then the 7th graders played and dominated! Winning 24 to 3. The 7th graders have improved a tremendous amount since the beginning of the season. Their record now stands at 3-5.
In the combined B team game the Thunder won big as well. With an outstanding victory of 27-18.
