NCMS Class Photo at Worlds of Fun

The eighth-graders of Nemaha Central Middle School traveled to Kansas City on Friday, May 19, for their field trip to Worlds of Fun. The weather was a bit rainy, but that didn't stop the class from having fun with their classmates one last time. This year, Worlds of Fun is celebrating 50 years of fun and the students looked forward to it.

Once the eighth graders arrived and went into the amusement park, everyone was split into their designated groups. This allowed everyone to be around their friends and go on the rides they’d been waiting to ride all year.

The popular rides were the Timber Wolf, Mamba, Prowler, and  Patriot. These rides were considered the highlight of the field trip due to their speed and height. Everybody was exploring the park and somewhere along the way the eighth graders found a lunch in the park. After a fun day at the amusement park, students met back, took a class picture one last time, and boarded the bus for the ride home.

The eighth graders really enjoyed being able to go on their field trip even though it was after they had graduated. Most said it was the best field trip they’ve had for the entire time they’ve been in elementary and middle school.  They really did have "Worlds of Fun" at the park with their NCMS classmates.
