The Nemaha Central Middle School track team competed in Seneca for their first home meet of the season, on Monday, April 24. As the track season is winding down, the athletes were focused on improving their times and distances. The schools that attended were, SPPS, Axtell, Wetmore, Troy, Everest, Hiawatha, Doniphan West, Royal Valley and Nemaha Central.

Overall, the athletes at Nemaha Central Middle School did an amazing job. The eighth grade boys placed 1st and the eighth grade girls placed 4th. The seventh grade boys placed 3rd and the seventh grade girls placed 1st. Out of the nine teams there, the Thunder athletes competed great and are working hard to do the best they can to get better every day.
