The Nemaha Central Elementary School students in grades 3rd-5th had the chance to bring their parents to Family Fitness Fun Night. This event was on Monday, January 30. The families who participated were looking forward to this event and the activities that were planned.
The families gathered and listened to the rules of the event. After that, they scattered into their family groups. The events were jumping rope, cup stacking, pilo polo, hockey, and Dr. Dodgeball.
The families switch from event to event throughout the night. They participated in team building activities and physical activities which could improve their physical health and their mental well-being.
All together the families that participated had fun at Family Fitness Fun Night.
Maggie Sudbeck said, “It was really fun and there weren't very many people.”
Keagen Richards said, “It was fun and my favorite event was hockey.”
